Membership Committee

The Membership Committee coordinates activities related to AASCIN membership, and coordinates the annual awards program. This committee develops and implements a membership survey when requested by the Board of Directors. Activities related to public relations and/or membership solicitations are planned, implemented and evaluated. The Committee reviews renewal applications for membership status.

The Membership Committee also sets guidelines for and selects recipients for four awards: The Staff Nurse Award for Excellence in SCI Nursing, The Expanded Role Award for Excellence in SCI Nursing, The SCI Nurse Competence in Aging Award, and The James J. Peters Award for Excellence in SCI Nursing.
