     The Staff Nurse Award for Excellence in SCI Nursing
This award recognizes an AASCIN member who is a role model in providing competent and compassionate nursing care to individuals with SCI.

Criteria

The nominee must:
Be a direct care provider (RN, LPN, LVN) to individuals with SCI.
Show outstanding clinical performance, as evidenced by:

  • Knowledge and Expertise in SCI nursing practice
  • Creativity in providing nursing care to individuals with SCI and supporting significant others
  • Collaboration with health care professionals in providing optimal care.
